15 Bible Verses For Deployment

While Matt has been safely home for awhile now, at the same time that means that the next deployment isn’t that far off. I don’t know if it’s the current state of the world or all the unknown we’ve faced throughout this year but I find myself going back to Matt’s first deployment and how much of what was to come was still so unknown to me at the time. I’ve been going back and reading my journals or reviewing The Thirty Things To Do During The First Thirty Days Of A Deployment and seeing how many things are so applicable during this time as well. I find strength in knowing that while I may have no idea what the future holds now, I didn’t know back then either and since 2017, I’ve made it through some of the hardest days of my life.

I also recently noticed that my Quotes for Military Relationships post has gone viral (for me) on Pinterest so I thought now would be a great time to revisit some of the deployment content that I never got around to publishing.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite Bible verses for military relationships & deployments. If you read my Deployment Countdown Chain post, these verses along with the quotes I mentioned above were what I wrote inside each link.

I have the She Reads Truth Christian Standard Bible, which I LOVE and what I’ve used for the translations below.
